Membership

MISEC membership is FREE. Our member districts represent over 1,000 school buildings which consume over 5,250,000 MMBtu's annually.

Over 430 Michigan school districts now belong to MISEC. Over 150 districts participate in the electric program and more than 135 districts participate in the natural gas customer choice or transport program.

We are a not for profit organization designed just for schools and pass all savings and rebates through to our members. We have no hidden margins or agendas.

MISEC is also an active participant in the legislative and regulatory arena – ensuring that the interests of school districts are considered.
